2021 Cowbelle of the Year

welcome

California is the world leader in food production and has the most productive agriculture region on earth. The production of Beef Cattle is California's fifth largest commodity. California CattleWomen focus on promoting better understanding to consumers on where their food originates, the quality controls used towards its safety, the impact the Beef Industry has on the economy of California, and the overall, far-reaching contributions the Beef Industry has to society as a whole.

OUR MISSION

To promote the welfare of the cattle industry and those engaged therein, by working for closer friendship and cooperation among those engaged in the industry and for a better understanding between the industry and the general public.
To promote social, educational and cultural activities for the CattleWomen, their families and friends.

CATTLEWOMEN'S CREED

Believing that the livestock industry is of basic importance to world existence, we, the California CattleWomen, dedicate ourselves to support it with our labor and finances; to promote it through information and publicity; to encourage its producers with our understanding and love, to do all in our power to install in the coming generation the love of the land and of life, the humility and awe before Nature, and the hope and faith in the future that is inherent in cattlemen and cattlewomen.
